Monday's crash at Greenville, ME

I live further north in Maine but speculation amongst the local flyers is stalled trying to make the aiport after engine emergency. Steep angle impact not far from runway. Sad

Just read through the post of your June 29 incident. Good job on maintaining control and flying it into the crash as far as possible, as Bob Hoover said. With low altitude there are limited options to choose from and very little time to weight those options. And often the airplane is sacrificed, but you "walked" away. Get well soon.

In this accident at Greenville there are very few places to put a plane down and be able to walk away. Sad if the pilot was bent on making the airport and didn't consider other options, if there were any.
