sad news that Geoffrey Wellum passed away last night, and now only leaves 9 raf Battle of Britain pilots left, having seen the film / documentary last Tuesday I recommend the viewing at eaa, and will endeavour to make it again on Monday to watch and pay my respects to these pilots who are not long to be around..
If you find me slouched in a corner fast asleep it’s the jet lag, as I’ll have just arrived into O’hara the same day.
