Missing prop found

Good thing they found it. Nice job landing the plane, BTW.
 
Barry was out about 100K to get N47BC back in service. I've seen many props poorly mounted on Malibus but the overhauled prop had been running fine on the reman engine for 150 hrs. What I find odd is that the NTSB ruled the prop was improperly installed, long before they found the propeller with the flange end of the crankshaft still attached. I hope that TCM will step up and take care of the loss. With the poor quality that TCM and Textron have had, I've really began to like my Barrett overhaul in our Malibu.

never saw the "find my prop please!" request until I got the "prop found" email! I did see the original post with the glide in landing shortly after the event. I was pretty amazed that the CG stayed within manageable parameters with a big chunk of weight gone from the pointy end ...
