Missing Ala Girl in Aruba [NA]

[AdamZ]

News reports two men " of interest" to be held without being charged for up to 116 days. WOW! glad I don't live under that system

News reports Several thousand civil service workers given a day off to help search for the Missing girl. WOW! Wish I lived in that kind of society.

Talk about being conflicted. I seriously question their civil rights but have total praise for their " compassion and community spirit"

Can't even imagine what the parents are going through!

That is a weird sounding incident, based on all that I have read so far. Not quite sure what the deal is? Girl get drunk, guards take advantage of her, kill her to cover it up, hide the body? Is that the theory? What I have heard so far doesn't make much sense.

And I can usually figure these things out pretty quickly. Occupationaly hazard

There was a report of the girl voluntarily getting into a car with three locals after being at a nightclub. The police questioned them, released them, but then picked up the two guys being held. BTW, I stayed at the same hotel as the girl (Holiday Inn) when we vacationed in Aruba a few years ago. The hotel is right on the beach and there is also speculation that she could have drowned while swimming at night. Who knows. Very sad indeed.
