On October 1, 2025, I flew AA 5084 from DCA to Birmingham and had a playful chat with the captain after the flight- first by the valet, then outside while waiting for our rides. My ride arrived and cut our conversation short, but I would have loved to give him my info had the timing not gotten rushed. For reference, I was in a dress with green flowers, rolling a yellow-green carry-on.

It feels strange to post this, but life’s too short not to shoot my shot! If you see this and know him, please respond here or email me at the address I made just for this purpose: [email protected]. And if you’re not comfortable sharing, please just let him know he left an impression.

At first I thought this thread was about a missed flight in Dallas.

If you can't find pal, there are tons of needy pilots here willing to jump all over the opportunity.

Depending on how much cyberstalking you'd like to do, you can scroll through LinkedIn for CRJ-900 Captains at PSA Airlines (who operated your flight) and see what you come up with. Good chance he's DC based as DCA is a domicile for the airline. Good luck.

Wishing you luck, go for it!

We'd need a photo of the OP to make that assessment. Then again, could be a stage five clinger.
You make a solid point...

Nonetheless. Delta captains, or Endeavor FOs cosplaying as Delta captains -- good work!

(I say that with respect to everyone in the industry btw!)

Not unless they go to a Coldplay concert.

I don't know enough about airline pilot scheduling, but couldn't OP just book the same flight again and most likely come across that same pilot?
Not the same flight, but if the pilot was on an overnight at the destination, there's a good chance he's flying the plane back to DC the next morning on whatever flight that is. After that, it's anyone's guess.

Green dress. Green Mooney. Some relationships start on less. Just sayin.

Uh, I was given to understand that pilots have it thrown at them from all directions. It's practically in the FAA literature. :D

This is like writing a missed connection to Bruno Mars saying you were at his concert and felt a spark. Yeah he'll get right back with ya when he finds his poon snorkel and wades ashore.

Don’t forget about taxes…I think they’re double based on the same green dress in the avatar.

OP, this is strange but I think I know the guy. Was he wearing a white shirt and chinos? Rugged good looks and a strong jawline? Nice firm butt? Likes to joke around a bit? He actually isn’t into women anymore (don’t ask me how I know). If he swings back straight I will get him to email you asap!

Ha- I think we've got different guys, but good luck with yours!

Does he have a 195?

For what it's worth, I shot it over to a friend of mine who flies for PSA. Maybe it will turn into something. Maybe it will end up as a joke among airline pilots. No way to know for sure.
