MI to FL vfr in March

    I’m planning on flying to FL from MI mid March. I’m familiar with typical MI area Wx that time of year as total roll of the dice, it’ll either be a blizzard ice storm or a beutiful spring day not much in between... but those of you that are from the other areas of my travel whats “typical” March Wx and typical Wx gotchas?

    We will not be on a tight 0gotta get there for biz meeting schedule... so good set up there for cross country vfr

    So would a $100 round trip airline ticket... I fly a vintage taildragger for the fun of it not the speed of it always...

    I’d say have fun with it, take your time. Shouldn’t be a problem, but may be blizzards. Just watch things closely.

    that’s what I figured. I’ve taken the old girl to ID twice and ferried a 150 for a friend from TX to MI so it won’t be my first long cross country. Just curious if there was typical weather info in TN, GA and FL that time of year to be aware of
