My son and I flew into AVL around 11:30 this morning, he flew and I played radio operator and navigator. :D While taxing to the ramp, Thomas pointed out a Citation CJ3 with an orange stripe running over the top. I recognized it as Jet Suite, the company Dick Karl flies for. We taxi in and park, I saw a gray haired guy walking out to the Citation and I told Thomas I was going to see if it was him. Anyway, as he was walking back to the FBO, I spoke with him briefly, seemed like a nice guy and one of my favorite "current" aviation authors.:D
My celebrity encounter for the day, other than having Falcon's owner, Arthur Blank's, G-IV follow us into FTY, they were going as slow as possible and we were going as fast as practical! :D

I was there with fellow PoAer ChemGuy doing his long IFR x-country around 10:45. We just landed and taxied back for departure. On our climb out we heard the Red Stripe call sign inbound to AVL.

I must have just missed you, we landed around 11:30! A little bumpy coming in from the south, not bad when we left and flew to Athens around 5:30 :D

Are you stalking me? AHN was our next stop too. :)

If my Dakota ends up missing I'm looking for you John...... :)

I thought Red Stripe was a plane load of Jamacian beer.

You learn something new every day.
