While attending the Wheels and Wings Beechcraft event at the 1940 Air Museum here at Hobby Airport (HOU) today, I had the pleasure of meeting both Spike Cutler and Dr Bill (of Waco). We chatted flying, backgrounds and then got the close up tour of their respective aircraft.
Nice guys, cool aircraft, and new friends! And of course PJ, Blair, and the other usual suspects were also in attendance!
Also the 2 guys flying a C150 from FL, to CA and back to FL happened to stop in and chat with everyone. www.flyingacrossamerica.com
With a Super KingAir 200, a T-34, a Staggerwing, several Baron's, more than a handfull of Bonanza's, and the 1940 Museum raffle aircraft, the ramp was pretty crowded!
A good crowd was in attendance when several local pilots were offered the floor to describe their flying experiences.
T'was a good day.....!
