To the AME’s and anyone who has ever requested their medical file from the faa, I have a question.
if I was deferred for arrests and failed drug tests (no duis)and sent the faa all the arrest records , some reference letters and a personal statement. When the HIMS AME and Psych get the medical records I requested, would they contain nothing since there is nothing “medical” in my file? Or should there be the documents I sent at least and maybe some correspondence from the FAA ?
My AME told me he got the file and it’s empty. Neither one of us are sure if it’s supposed to be or if the FAA made an 8 week long mistake and forgot to fill the envelope before sending.
