To score a cheap private flight, make a daily habit of scouring the interwebs -- sites like PrivateFly, JetSuite and Victor list last-minute empty leg offers with the type of jet, date and destination for potential passengers to book. If you log in at the right time and are willing to travel with limited notice, then the plane is all yours.

:hairraise: And NOBODY is GOING TO JAIL over this?

I'm not sure I understand why you think this is wrong. It's been going on for a while and isn't anywhere close to AirPooler. Most of these jets are in Part 135's that want to get some revenue to help pay for fuel and overhead.

I think you're missing the sarcasm of the original poster.

It was a rather non sequitur of sarcasm though with no basis on which to found.:dunno: The media article wasn't ringing a false alarm or even danger, they were advertising opportunity. Something a pilot should see as normal and proper. Now where sarcasm could have been appropriately applied most likely is in the use of 'cheap' and 'private flight' together. Not really sure what those rides go for.:dunno:

Whenever I'm having a bad day, I go check out The Onion and The Daily Currant. If the stories aren't funny enough, the comments below them from idiots who don't get it are even better.
