Ever seen the two in the same room?
Just sayin'.
One of the best lyrics ever written. I vote Meatloaf.
I was kinda partial to "two out of three ain't bad" myself! One of the best lyrics ever written. I vote Meatloaf.

Are ya votin' Meatball or Steinman?

After looking at the pics again, Meatloaf could easily play Christie in the made for TV movie about orange-coneGate.
Bat out of Hell was his best tune.
Careful. Also written by Steinman.
Yep, but the performer is who brings it to life.
Yup, you betcha!yer a complicated melancholy bastich, ain't ya?

I suspect a signed Chris Christie shirt would not have the same affect.
Met "Mr Loaf" once at a concert. I won a prize for Pre concert backstage tour including my then college age daughter and I was wearing a pretty classy Hawaiian shirt. Meatloaf liked it a lot and offered to swap shirts, even though it was too small for him. I did, he signed his and I had his shirt framed for her which elevated her several rungs on the school social scale.

Cheers
Haha when I was stationed in Germany, I was drinking beer in a GI bar near the barracks talking to this German dude. I asked him what he knew about American music. His reply, in a thick German accent, was "Meatloaf."
Outside of the immediate vicinity of U.S. military installations, very little American music made it in to the German culture at the time. In the dance clubs, they all played euro-techno music. And they (rightly) claimed the Scorpions as their own. Oddly enough, Meatloaf managed to make it's way there.
Weren't they fans of David Hasslehoff's music too?
