With a tag line of "I'm lovin' it", McD's really blundered their response. They should have accepted the challenge and made a big deal out of it. Even if they were going to decline they really missed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to come across as playful and fun. Instead, the snarky response leaves egg McMuffin on their face.
 
I read the story about the collaboration offer but, since I don't eat beef very often (and fast food even less often), it didn't appeal much to me. However, I don't hate either corporation, so none of the options in the poll really fit.

No, not a vegan. I just prefer fish & chicken. But right now there's a rabbit in the crockpot, and there's always plenty of pig parts in the freezer.
I don't know any vegans here on the western slope, but I'm sure there must be at least one... somewhere...

Depending on where ya draw the line on the "western" part of Colorado, I know of several vegans out there. Strange creatures they are. They eat those things that we feed to food!

Anyway, there's room for all God's creatures, right next to the taters and gravy...
 
I like Whoppers and I like Quarter Pounders but I don't eat either these days much because of a low carb diet. Carl's Jr. gets it. Inn & Out gets it. Habit Burger gets it. They do the lettuce wrap thing. BK and McD's don't.
 
Would give it a try,without the bun,just another carb guy.

In our area I'll take five guys, then Hardee's. After that, I'd rather get a sub or something.

If we're not supposed to eat animals, how come they're made out of meat?
