Please google massey air museum. This Saturday is their big chili fly in. 3000 feet of nice wide grass. Many taildraggers including sometimes , a Staggerwing, also has appeared a magnificent Grumman goose. Usually about 100 aircraft show up. Massey maryland.

Blast, this sounds like a great event to attend with my Maule. Unfortunately, this Saturday is an FAA Safety Seminar I've committed to attend. After looking at the charts, MD1 looks like a great stop any day I happen to be out and about with the plane. I will visit sometime this spring!

Very nice place. John Williamson runs it. It's worth the trip to just drool over the Stinson gull wing based there and the 450 Stearman. It used to be home for a DC3 used for mosquito control some years ago. Nice approaches. Reminds you of years ago, the " way things used to be."
