While buying a 182S in New Jersey, I managed to get weathered in with no end in sight. Ron flew in on minutes' notice and flew us back to Toronto.

Hard to imagine a nicer, more accomodating guy! Not to mention the most competent and professional pilot I've ever met.

There I was at 7:23 yesterday morning, snuggled between Fran and the dog, when the phone rang...and only a few hours later, there I was, 8000 feet over Canada in Jamie's "new" 182 -- a quite lovely bird, I might say. Thanks again to Jamie for thinking of me.

PS: Always make sure the PGA is not having a tour stop in the town at which you plan to stay overnight unless you already have a reservation.
