not sure why it never occurred to me to do this before. Inspired by the other gentlemen spoke about his new simulator, and also tango whiskey posting on Facebook, it occurred to me I had an exciting method of playing flight simulator. We have this media room upstairs that we don't use that much it dawned on me that I have HDMI out on my computer. FSX has inst tutorials built in. Might not be a bad way to pick up some tips while grounded for shoulder surgery.

also I can practice taxiing while drunk in case ramp wants to know more about that

now if only I could afford all those gadgets that make it feel more real ergonomically.

It's not bad at all. Far less jerky than the computer monitor using the onboard video card
