The A4A/A4M thread prompted this post.
The PDF is a little old, but I believe it to still be accurate for what it covers.

Only difference between A4A and A4M is Slick vs Bendix mags.

No difference. If you order one of each today from Lycoming both will have Slick magnetos. Charlie Melot Zephyr Engines
