    thank you for the ticket, and ride. I have read 98 % of this and enjoyed some of the most beautiful pictures and scenery. At what point did you get the tail painted?

    I don't have the logs in front of me, but I believe due to an AD, the vertical stabilizer bracket was replaced and maybe some other work done on the tail around 2000. I just bought the plane a year ago, so that was before my time. The plane also came with white ailerons and the top of the cabin painted white. I don't like any of that, but that's how it is for the time being.
