Going ma. To Fla ,this week need some ideas on lunch stops on the way. Prefer airports with restaurants on the field. Thanks

KEYF Elizabethtown NC.
No resaurant on field but great fuel prices and a repurposed police car that will take you to Melvin's almost automatically:D ...a popular hot dog/hamburger stand. It is a 5 minute drive...

Oscar and Mitch and this airport are what aviation are all about in these parts.

Charly's Airport Restaurant at Williamsburg JGG is pretty fantastic.

Pick n Pig at 5nc3 (Carthage, NC), closed Mondays but good BBQ when open.

There's a restaurant right across the street within walking distance. Although, I would stop there especially for it.

ORF might make a nice stop. Nothing on the field but they have a crew car.

Good eats in SAV too, but again, off field.

This one is easy - first off, range? Bladder, fuel or SO.

We used to fly IJD to ARW [Beaufort SC] 6-7x a year -when I needed a stop we would select Suffolk VA [KSFQ] - has everything you want, food, reasonably to cheap priced fuel and an instrument approach.

South of there there a couple of places in NC:

note the 2500' runway if that is an issue for you . . .

into SC the only place I know with actual food and fuel even close by is Beaufort and thats a 1/2 mile or the free car. i'm sure you can find others upstate of anything west of hte lakes is out of your way on that type of routing . . . .

Charly's at KJGG (open 11-3 every day) as mentioned above, and:
Kay's at Cambridge MD (KCGE) -- closed on Wednesdays.
Arena's at Georgetown DE (KGED -- 10 cents/gal off if you have lunch)

Great choice! :). Also, keep in mind that the State Of Delaware will refund you .23/gal if you send your receipt and paperwork in.

+1 we went there this summer during the U.S. Open with my in laws! We drove over from Pinehurst, but the food was great! It's a fairly short runway, 2500 ft or so. :D
