Sheesh.

I saw a story the other day that the screeners at YVR went into a panic because an elderly gentleman had nitroglycerin.... pills.

The clip of the detonation is cut from about an hour of live footage taken apparently from a news chopper. I'm suprised the tower let him hover that long on station.

A bomb squad called to the scene told officials, the hole on the side of the luggage was created from an outside source.

Officials investigated the airplane and did not find flammable or incendiary devices on board.

As investigators wrap up, officials say that it was likely that the luggage was set on a hot surface during its trip from Amsterdam.

I feel safer already.
