So, yesterday, I was flying in and out of the bottom of some clouds. Temp varied from 0 to +3 at my altitude. At one point while in the clouds, my passenger and I notices a change in sound. It felt like the whole plane developed a low pitch hum. All the instruments looked normal. There was no ice on the wings nor struts, nor windscreen, but there was some very light precipitation. It lasted only a minute or so, then went away.

Has anyone here experienced such a sound? If so, any idea what it could be? Could it have been ice on the prop? I sure didn't notice any vibration from the engine.

My 182P does it too, only in clouds or light rain. Mechanic guesses air vents. Might also be flap gap seals?
