Low oil temperature during flight

Your shop is telling you stories. Garmin has had huge success with the G3X and your story is unique. I followed the manual and mine works great. Anyone who’s installed one would have recognized the wire deviation very quickly.
I don't doubt what you say and I'm pretty convinced that is it but the fact that Garmin doesn't want to share information with me, the buyer and end-client "without the consent" of the shop, then to me is their lack of support and supervision on the work of their chosen dealers. As a customer I have felt totally on my own with an $80K panel upgrade.

The competition provides the harnesses with their engine monitors (JPI for example).

I’m wondering the purpose of the Garmin business model - avionics shop gets to charge more for labor and materials so some might be more inclined to sell Garmin?

Same idea for replacing a 430/530 with their next gen, rather than doing what the competition did with a direct swap for the 430/530 (Avidyne).

Just a guess, don’t flame.
