Being a CFI could be a good hobby for you.
That's one of my mental blocks about it. I wouldn't allow myself to ever call it a hobby. Teaching folks how not to kill themselves aloft seems a bit too important to classify as a hobby.
LOL
I know one CFI (actually with an extra I) who too said "I am sick and tired of working, I'll become a full-time CFI" and he did. The instruction nicely complements his retirement check. He couldn't be happier.
Number of old coots around here doing that. Here meaning locally and not necessarily PoA.
A few got to start early when companies offered them early retirement packages to go away. One can dream. LOL.
Please kick my ass out early with a big check. Please kick
my ass out early with a big check. Please kick my ass out early with a big check.
(I hear if you say it three times fast it'll happen 20 years from now. Does it really work? Haha!)
No offense to old coots. I'm too many years from being an old coot to plan it that way. Well I could ... but that'd be a really long planning cycle. Haha.
The pizza delivery one was funny. Somehow I'd never heard that one.
Well no time like the present! To go to sleep.
Or keep reading PoA.
It's 01:49 local and Karen is snoring. I'm going to mandate she get a sleep study like the FAA. Haha. Not. She ain't having any trouble getting air in and out, it sounds like she swallowed a French horn.
How the hell the dogs sleep through this racket I have no idea. I'm probably headed upstairs if it keeps up. We'll see if the rib like and getting her to roll over puts the horn into a holding pattern.
The poke and roll routine lasted until 01:56. Guess that ain't working tonight. I do keep shooting earplugs
Ahh. Plugs in at 02:03. There's a muffled French Horn now. I could double up and go get the shooing muffs or better yet the Zulu2. Anyone tried the ANR on snoring? Haha.
Plugs work. Night.
