How come when I was sitting for hours in my room at that kids age hacking out BASIC code on a C-64 (With nothing but the stupid book that came with it for guidance) writing word processors and banner makers using tractor feed printers, I just got in trouble.... "Kids know more about technology than the teachers" - if only that were true. It would make my life so much easier.

I was at the help desk at school not too long ago because I couldn't find the obscure place that I needed to go to change a setting for a secondary display (no, it was not right click, properties...). And I'm listening to half a phone conversation - after a short period of time, I realize the help desk person is helping someone change their home page on their web browser.
