Hi,
I am thinking about purchasing a Grumman aa1 or aa5 but have never sat in one. Does anyone have a Grumman near San Luis Obispo or Paso Robles?
Thanks!

Grummans suck and are overvalued. You are not interested... repeat... gaze into my eyes... you are not interested....
<-- another one who lusts for a Grumman...

Where about are you in CNY? I grew up west of Syracuse

A few years back I could have set you up, but not so much now.

As long as you’re not super fat they fit really well, I’d prefer to do a xc in a AA1 than most other 2 seaters. Also a great transition aircraft to high performance stuff as far as how it handles and the take off and landing sight picture.

I’m 6’2” and 165lbs. Good fit for me?

Yes. I’m 6’ 2” and have about 150 hours in an AA5. Never felt too tall. Legwise or heightwise. Plenty of room. So if your a little long or short waisted I think you’ll be fine.
