By chance does anybody know of a small 141 flight school for sale or that may be interested in an offer. I have a friend in Louisiana that is looking to purchase a flight school and relocate. He has been too busy selling his other business to put in the labor to find one that is looking to get some cash and move on. He has offered a $2,000 finders fee that I would be willing to split with anyone that gives me a lead and he ends up purchasing the school. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You for any assistance in advance.

Perhaps the remnants of the Euro American School of Aviation in Ormond Beach, FL (KOMN) are for sale? They were Part 61/141/EASA until EASA pulled the plug with them, and then they closed down last July. Planes are still there etc.
No idea about any contact details though.

Why don't you just tell your friend to throw the money into the street ? He'd have much better chance of making a profit that way !

Ssshhh. If someone buys that school from KOMN, maybe the ex-owner would finally have money to pay me what he owes... :)

Art,

He was very succesful with his last 141 school before he decided to sell it and chase the skies around the world for a little while. He is expecting a child now and has decided that he would like to take his family somewhere that he can be home every night again.

Dera,

I had looked into EASA, but they actually had lost all certificates and thats why they closed up shop.

Would you be interested in a part 147 (?) A&P school in Denver? Turnkey with certs, curriculum, full shop, classrooms, etc?

Murphy,

Though it sounds interesting, the background is as a pilot, and we all know pilots and maintenance dont mix lol. In all honesty, this is all about relocating, setteling down and getting back to a flying business that allows a pilot to be home every night.

I Must have been mistaken with EASA. Any contact info for the former owners?
