Pre-takeoff checklist
King won't give you info unless you log in....no need to log in if I'm not buying something from them. It seems the distributors don't sell the updates for king avionics so where to get the info on how much it costs to update and how its done? The manual linked on the king site also states that the update is done via 3.5" floppies but who has a computer with serial ports anymore....damn 1997 manual needs updating too. In any case, I'm thinking the KLX 135A looks like a good stand alone for an old 172 that won't be doing instrument flying. Any user experience and help with finding the cost of updating would be helpful.
