I'd like to click one link and see about 6-8 pre-designated metars at the same time. Anyone know if there's a website or Java ap that will do that?

Not off hand, altho there's an iTunes app AeroWeather where you can create a list of airports, then the app will go out and update all of them at once. I know that may not be what you're looking for, but if it's an app, then there's probably a generic version for the web and/or java.

like upstateny said. just type in the designator and put a space between each one.

If you want to get the same METARs over and over, you can also make a shortcut similar to the following, just replace the station identifiers with the ones that interest you:

http://aviationweather.gov/adds/metars/?station_ids=knip+kvqq+kcrg+kjax&chk_metars=on

If you don't mind also seeing the TAFs (if available for that station) just leave off the "&chk_metars=on" and make the shortcut as follows:

http://aviationweather.gov/adds/metars/?station_ids=knip+kvqq+kcrg+kjax

Again, just replace the id's I used with your own, seperated by "+" signs.

Put them all in as a starting point, a route, and a destination in navmonster.com then bookmark it.

+1 for Weathermeister. This is the only web site I have ever even considered paying for. It is well worth the $50/year.

I just go to Skyvector.
