A friend of mine wants to rent a military configured UH-1 "Huey", and he's located in western PA. Anybody know of one to rent out that way? It could be located in PA, WV, or OH, but relatively "local". Thanks.

Really ? Why ? It's my least favorite of all military helicopters.

I got to fly H's in flight school and my first unit as a secondary aircraft (This is unheard of these days)...some of my best times in Aviation were in a UH-1...just a fine workhorse that makes me smile every time I see one...

As an Army pilot I love the Huey. I wish we still trained in them. (Maybe I hate the rigid rotor and damn limitations of the UH-72.)

I'll sell him my b model. It isn't military configured now but could be without too much effort. Still has the armored seats and grenade launcher mounts in the nose. She was a gunship in Vietnam.

Someone hangars a Huey here at KMDD.
Really like the sound of that two bladed rotor when he is over town.
