Looking for a job?

They've been trying to get rid of that airplane for a while now. One thing I see with it is that there is no spray gear and that it has an experimental AW certificate. I wonder what the story is with that and how hard it would be to get it back to the restricted category.

It's an Experimental R&D certificate, issued in 2011...interesting.

Maybe they're hoping somebody didn't read any of the "Standard to Experimental" threads?

Why can't it be returned to it's original AWC?

Good question. I'm just assuming from the lack of info on the Exp. certificate that it's not that easy, but maybe they just didn't want to pay for that many words.

At one time it was a certified production built aircraft. it can be again, it's just a matter is the aircraft worth doing that.
I thought that towing was pretty lucrative.

Exactly...no indication as to the extent to which the airplane was modified for R&D, nor whether it's an easy change back.

This aircraft came from the factory with a 0-470 installed, it now has a 0-520, I think I know why it's in EXP category.
