Me too, and I've just returned from a trip to Danville, KY to look at one. If you are contemplating doing the same, PM me and I can share my findings, possibly saving you a trip or helping you to better understand the plane.

Sure did Ryan, and I miss it tremendously! I thought I was done flying (medical issues) and sold my fixed gear, but relocated to the gulf coast and realize I gotta get back in the air. I've studied which planes meet my mission best, and it really comes down to the Cardinal. Since I've moved, my mission will require a bit more XC flying, so I think the extra 20 knots of the RG would come in handy.
 
I also have the FAA CD for the Danville, Kentucky, C177RG, N1947Q. If you decide to look at the plane, I can save you $10. Let me know and I'll email the CD contents to you.
