my dear friend and musical spouse Ed wrote this lovely tune for his mom, who was on her deathbed when he wrote it.

she died, and he didn't make it to see before she did. Please listen.

I'm sorry for Ed's loss. It sounds like she was quite an impression on him and how he forms his music. I'm sure she's still hearing this song even though he didn't make it there in person.
