Anyone else typo logbook entries on the computer routinely? I keep typing "ouch & goes", for some reason...

Stay on speed, stay on speed, stay on speed. You won't have ouch and goes.

Ok, so I have a bone to pick with a local LSA shop that teaches folks to fly an approach above 1.3*Vso and then complains about bad landings damaging the nose gear.

I think they're worried about not having enough energy in case of engine failure when they should be worried about too much energy on normal arrival.

Ouch and go's sounds like some of my first landings in the 172.

Or like one of my landings yesterday in the Aztec. It could've been better... but nobody else in the plane seemed to care, including the MEI who always complains if he finds reason to. Actually, he did complain. "You weren't on the center line." :)

The funny thing is I just watched "Tron" again last week - there was a definite ouch-and-go in the movie.
