Log In Issues

For some reason lately I've been finding that after I type a reply and hit the send/submit/reply/whatever button I'm confronted with a "log in" prompt even though I logged in before hitting "New Posts" to find the thread to which I wrote the response. The worst of it is that after I "log in" again whatever reply I typed is gone.

Seems to be the first reply of any visit, but I don't have test data to back that feeling.

Ed, try clearing all your cookies in IE. This happened to me once.

What Bruce said. If that doesn't work I'll post a more thorough checklist to follow to hopefully clear this up.
