In Limbo...
Local war vet and pilot unfortunately lost his medical. He gave my CFI his set of Lightspeed X20 ANR headsets and asked that they be given to a student...which was me. I'm honored to call his like-new headsets mine. And the price was one I couldn't beat...absolutely free.

I used to have X20s. Comfy but the ear seals started to peel after a year.

Thanks to a vet again. Enjoy

Cool! Be sure to keep paying it forward.

Take him flying. Offer to ride right seat with him when you get your ticket.

Great idea! I haven't met him but have his address and I'm writing him a letter. I'll include that. As for flying right seat, I may have to do it a time or two first...lol

They all do. I used to have a 15XL - just replace the ear seals and top band every so often.

Very nice gesture indeed. Offer him a flight when you get a chance

Yep. I have a pair I use as a spare. Had them on my young nephew last month and when we landed his entire face was covered with the stuff. Pretty funny. But, they work well and the seals are easy to replace. Can't beat that price.

Very nice of that guy!
