Living Legends of Aviation

Not all of the “Living Legends” are actually living.
 
Steve Hinton would have been my first choice on the day they came up with the award. Impressive gentleman.
 
Other than writing wide-form checks, remind me of the Bezos aviation achievements? I seem to have missed them.

What about the guy who parachuted from his plane on YouTube and lost his license? That’s pretty legendary.

The rest of the list should be retitled “most famous people who once flew or owned a plane”.

So is Jeffrey Epstein on there? Because THAT is a famous plane.
 
It looks like almost all of the awards are for running aviation or space travel-related businesses, rather than what they did with stick and rudder.
