Okay, I'm a little late to this 1997 gem of a documentary. Never heard of it or Dieter Dengler before watching on Netflix. I recommend it highly, especially to aviation war story fans.

It's a Werner Herzog film so there's that.

Just Wow! Great Film. Don't stop watching when the credits start to play, not that you ever would.

Seen it years ago but don’t remember too much of it. As I remember they recreate his POW experience. Of course the movie Rescue Dawn is based on Dieter’s shoot down, capture and POW experience as well.
