Where is a good place to look up a listing of sua and details?
This aft. I was routed around "r-space 'Wiley" twice (I asked for spelling) and it was not on any of our current hi, low, vfr charts in the place the controller described.

Location and altitude?

Sectional would be a start

Not there.

I'm saying, two of us pored over ALL charts available, they were current, they included vfr, LE, HE

Do you have some idea of your position and altitude when you were routed around this mysterious airspace?

There's a Wiley ATCAA
Look here: https://quizlet.com/64486083/se-misc-flash-cards/
There is a R5107 and R5111 associated with Wiley, a Google search turns up several hits on both of those.

That looks to be it. Still some mysteries:
1. Why do I not see Wiley on my charts or briefings? I must have overlooked it on the charts and done the briefing wrong.
2. ATC spoke of "Wiley" when I see in your link "Wiley East" "Wiley West" "Wiley East ATCAA" "Wiley West Extension"
3. I did not see geo-descriptors or charting of the Wileys.
4. If they involve only groupings of charted MOAs and R-space, it does not explain my reroute. I was coming from the south to XGAME and was told, nope gotta go further east before turning to KSAF. Then on the way home, same thing: 'need to keep you out of Wiley, new routing east of XGAME'.
Keep this in mind: I Had Flown the Same Route a week or so ago, directly passing over XGAME without reroutes. Double secret R-space?
5. Google. Really?

Where is this Wiley, what state?

is

Google? Yes, really. I googled R5107, it took me to the link EvilEagle posted. I clicked on the airspace in NM and R5107 popped up. It will tell you the status. https://sua.faa.gov/sua/siteFrame.app
Wiley is the name of the airspace associated with the Restricted areas, not the Restricted areas themselves. Were you IFR or VFR?

You don't see it on your charts because ATCAAs are not charted. There's no need for them to be as they exist only in Class A airspace. You'll only be routed around them when they're active.

To add to Ronachamp's post, the ATCAA can be activated with the Restricted areas, but doesn't have to be. So, the R can be hot and you can fly over them, but if the ATCAA is activated with it then, of course, you'll have to avoid it.

Apparently there is something always new! I have not heard of an uncharted, un-notamed (double secret) sua of undefined location and dimensions which is not in a briefing that excludes Google! Thanks, guys! Must include google.com in my next briefing.

There are no uncharted SUAs in the US outside Class A. ATC just used a name rather than a number.

If you are in Class A, you must be on a clearance, regardless of what special use airspace may be around.

Controlled Firing Areas are uncharted and exist outside of Class A airspace. They are not charted because avoidance is not required.

I know of one. It is probably a fairly rare exception but it does exist. I don't think it is published anywhere so it can only be found by NOTAM. VFR traffic is not restricted from entry but IFR will be routed around it.
