Sanded and shaped it this morning, sanded the surrounding plastic area with 220 grit sandpaper to roughen it up a bit, cleaned with lacquer thinner to get the plastic a little more receptive to paint, sprayed with Valspar plastic primer and two coats of Rustoleum 2X (which is supposed to be plastic-friendly). Second coat went on about an hour ago, so I'm waiting until tomorrow morning to remove the masking tape. Pictures to follow. Hold please...
 
Not bad looking at all. Have you flight tested it yet?

I hope to test in this weekend. It would certainly suck if it didn't work, because that control box housing isn't ever going to be opened up, that's for sure!
 
Nice job, now sell it on ebay and buy some zulu3s :)
