The Sierra is a very good and quiet headset. It is made mostly of plastic.
The Zulu 3 is a bit quiter and is made of mostly magnesium and stainless.
There is a reason the Zulu 3 cost more.

Yes. On the Sierras, you can have the mic boom on the right hand side of the headset...not so on the Zulus.
