Lightspeed PFX - PIREPs?

I tested these long-delayed headphones at OSH 2013, and was amazed. They were WAY quieter than my Lightspeed Zulus.

Now that they are finally to market, I want a pair. But before I drop $1.1 AMUs on a headset, I need to hear some PIREPs. Anyone?

I just broke down & bought the A20s from Bose. I will try them out soon.

My airplane partner has a pair of Lightspeeds, and they are the quietest and most comfortable headsets I've ever worn. Not the ones in the link, though.

I'm in the same boat as Jay. I tried them last year and was amazed - They start out right away as quiet as any ANR, then after a few seconds they get even quieter. I'm not sure what the reason for the big delay was, they seemed to work great nearly a year ago. Hopefully they were taking the extra time to ensure reliability, build quality, and adaptability to different flying situations.

I want one! Not just yet, though.

$1100 is a breathtaking price point. Until I hear some PIREPs from actual users in the field, my credit card will remain resolutely in my wallet.
