License date

I got my ppl back in 1984 but when they changed over to the hard copy cards it only shows that I've been a private pilot since 2005.

Is there any way to get this resolved to show the actual date?

I've tried searching elsewhere on this.

Nope. They always show the date that the actual certificate was issued. If you add another rating, it would be changed again.
