I was sitting here looking at the Aviation Weather web page, when an odd letter M, positioned over the "airport", stuck out to me. I'm used to seeing circles, either open or some degree of fill.
I see another one in Missouri.
My gaze is usually AZ/CA centric, and I've never seen "M" depicted before. Is this something about the station itself? I can't find a legend to describe it.
The M is over KCNK, and there's another East of Kansas City at KCDJ.
