Hi All,

The other thread about the Jenny got me thinking about classic old airplanes.

I took this photo at the Shuttleworth Collection in the UK some years back.

You have to love the simplicity.

I did get a few photographs of the cockpit in the Jenny I saw today that I will post soon. One of my favorite items in the cockpit was a placard that said "no intentional skydiving".

I also got a picture of the "ultra sophisticated" airspeed indicator that was strapped to a guy wire on the left wing
 
Classic aircraft from the golden age of flight are wonderful.

If you ever get a chance, visit Antique Airfield near Ottumwa, Iowa, during the AAA fly-in. It's held on Labor Day weekend, and you will see aircraft there that NEVER fly into OSH.
 
I can dig it, and that is about what I'm thinking if I decide to build a second plane
