Leicester helicopter crash video shows aircraft spirals out of control before crashing

Who knows, hard to make any conclusive assumption with a video like that.

Could be LTE or it could just be a tail-rotor mechanical issue.

Live leak comments best be taken with a grain of salt. They are often rough and have Little to do with OG video.

At that altitude and airspeed. I’d agree with that comment. While most helicopters can fly quite well at certain speeds due to vert fin authority, with no tail rotor thrust, slow speed (less than ETL 16-24 kts) and low altitudes (less than 200 ft), slight chance of a successful auto. Like Ryan said LTE is possible. Lack of strong wind on the flags points more to loss of thrust though.
