It looks like vandals have been messing with this Jetprop. The new owner wants to update about everything. These big jobs are always a lot of fun.(really)

New windshields (Lh heated), solid side window, airbags, inner pane windows, insulation, de-ice boots, new interior, Garmin 500 panel, rear bulkhead, and so much more.

Go look on Ebay I'd think theres a good chance he finds the missing parts of the plane.

That's awesome, but it looks like he's pretty much buying a new plane, piece by piece!

On a side note, it always amazes me to see how precariously those PT-6s seem to be attached when you strip all the skin away. It was the same on the 1900 when they pulled all the cowls off...looked like you could just snap the thing off.

The PT-6 is a pretty lightweight engine as are most turboprops, and that has to do with most of the requirements for the mount since it has to not only transmit the thrust, but also deal with the weight of the engine, especially for bounces through turbulance and hard landings.

There was a project some years back to put a V8 engine on a Twin Commander 685. The thought was that it should be easy since the turbine versions had way more power than the piston versions. True, but a TPE-331 doesn't weigh anywhere near what a turbocharged, water-cooled V8 does. The mount was a monster and weighed a ridiculous amount. Meanwhile, I can easily pick up the mount for my Aztec with one hand, and it doesn't look a lot different from that PT-6 mount.

The original fuselage to engine mount structure is what amazes me. It looks so flimsy to begin with and they made no structure changes when they installed the PT6 engine. I've never seen any signs of stress on the fuselage after torque exceedances.
