I would say that is the old city airport, Brookfield and Marceline went together and built North Central Missouri Regional Airport that is between the two cities. Marceline's old airport is still there as well and is in pretty good shape. A developer wanted to buy it and sell off lots for a fly in community, but the city wouldn't sell.

Yellow X about halfway down the paved runway on Google. Might be a building on the north end not mentioned in the advertising. Was this airport used for agricultural spraying operation?

Yes it was, my best friend from high school and his father flew crop dusters out of both Brookfield and Marceline. Kurt was working on his rating and was killed in a crash just a 1/2 mile from his house,he was 27.
