I purchased a set of landing gear (one piece grove style) that has
holes already drilled for axles. Who would I go to with the pattern
to find out which, if any, axles they where drilled for?

Lou,

Have you talked to the guys at Grove? They should be able to tell you what axels will fit your pattern if you know the model of gear you bought.
Go to their website and fid their spec sheets.

The only other way is to take measurements and call Spruce, Wicks, or Chief and see if they can help. I have access to some Grove data sheets but am out of town right now other wise I'd try to look it up for you.

What are you putting them on?

Sometimes it's the simple ideas that get past me.

I believe the gear is drilled for a generic axle, the axles themselves are the same pattern at the bolt-thru and are then milled for the specific axle/wheel/(wheelpant) combo. The mounting ends are all the same for light GA aircraft.

Pick your wheel/axle combo and go!
