I hope you don't mind me hijacking your pictures Brook.
If you look on Brook's pictures DSC_0121 & 0122 these are the pictures Brook took of Thunder Ridge air strip when I gave her a ride early. The rides I gave were landing from the North and started with a close approach over Gerald's hangar, then between the two big trees to try to get on the ground before the strip went down over the hill. It was also important to stay in the mowed area, as his mower had broken after he had made one pass on his strip. We taxied
back up the hill toward the hangar turned around about even with his house and took off over the hill. On the second little bump we would be airborne. We had fun, anyways I sure did. I am sorry if you wanted to go and I didn't get to you.
