It's Texas, people there aren't stupid.

In NE we can legally land on county roads if you have permission of the FAA & local sheriff block off traffic. You may need to pay them, but they will do it. I had a "project" RV-9 I was going to fly to my house, land and rebuild, but the deal fell apart and I did not buy it.

Nice to know it can be done here though.

Seen that video many times, but never before noticed that he took the mirror off the semi BEFORE his wing hit the back of the emergency vehicle.
