That name gets used a lot. The absolute best restaurant in Medford, WI carried that name. They would only allow us 1 night a week because they need to keep their regular customer basis going. We were there for 6 months and our group would fill their second seating. But then, we were never there Fri thru Mon.
Good times. They didn't have menus, they grew all their vegetables, and we never had a bad meal.
It's on Commonwealth avenue, just west of KFUL. (8181 Commonwealth Avenue, Buena Park, CA)
I only caught sight of it when I decided to look north. Generally there isn't a lot of interesting things to see at that part of the block, and I'm usually staring at Bernie's Place because it's a hole-in-the-wall, family run Mexican Food restaurant with excellent food. (7912 Commonwealth Ave.)
When I was in a tech school in Waco back in the late 70s, there were two..... let's call them burger restaurants....that made truck stop cafes look like 5 star restaurants.
One was called ''Ptomaine Tommy's'' and the other was called ''Dog 'N Burger''. Actually not bad burgers but the places looked like heck.
